Student’s Performance Report (SPR) — about SPR and your student data
SPR (Student's Performance Report) is a free markbook made by Mohammed Shehzad Khan (Teacher Mo), an ESL teacher, to help teachers at his school record scores and print report cards. It is a teacher's tool. It is not a commercial product and it is not a school information system.
The student records you enter belong to your school. The school decides who may use them and how long they are kept. The maker of SPR does not collect, hold, read or sell your data.
The school-designated owner account (one protected account, held by the school, not by the maker) can open every class in this markbook and can switch the app to read-only or locked for everyone. It does not delete anyone's data and does not send data anywhere. Nobody else — including the maker — has this access.
Data is stored inside the browser on the device you use. It is encrypted with your password. If you forget the password and no master password or backup exists, the data cannot be recovered by anyone. Exported Excel and backup files are not encrypted; keep them only on school-approved storage and delete them when no longer needed.
Nothing is sent anywhere unless an admin turns on Device sync or someone uses Save & Share. In that case an encrypted copy is stored on Supabase, a third-party hosting service. SPR does not use analytics or advertising trackers.
Use a screen lock. Do not use shared or public computers. Download a backup after each working session. Follow your school's rules and the law that applies to you (for example PIPL in China) when you handle or share student information.
SPR is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. It may contain errors. Grades and comments it produces must be checked by a teacher before they are used. To the extent the law allows, the maker is not responsible for lost or corrupted data, wrong grades, or any use of the tool. Browsers can delete site data; backups are the only protection.
